UNITE TO FACE ADDICTION EVENT in WASHINGTON DC OCTOBER 4th, 2015

Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 4.22.44 PM

Well …here we go again. Will it ever end? The flagrant promoting of this AA crap. OMG— Just look at the list…

Why is Hollywood so filled with steppers? Is it that Actors and Singers are so desperate for a job and a gig they will do anything to please people?

I am not sure. I wonder when will the tide turn? I heard it has, but come on. ..

I wish I could go to protest. Maybe we can plan a protest for another time…next year. We can protest against AA promotion through this vehicle in each of our cities >>>>>Not sure but …it does make me mad to see how infested AA is everywhere in America.

Its sickening.  I think I need to go out and see a concert by a singer who drinks !!!

Petition to Health Workers regarding Alcoholics Anonymous infested in Healthcare- Social Work and in Therapy

Screen Shot 2015-09-27 at 4.53.14 PMScreen Shot 2015-09-27 at 4.53.05 PMWhen I first left AA I had no idea how bad things were with AA members, called two hatters, working in all of these fields. I have signed this petition. Read what some of the people have written…really amazing how damaging AA really can be.  When will Hollywood Filmmakers and TV show runners get the Telex….email..phone call …letter, that AA fails for 90-95 % of those who go there for help.

Bad Rehabs run by Phoenix House in Upstate New York

Screen Shot 2015-09-03 at 12.12.50 AM

Okay- this is really bad. It never stops . Yet Vanity Fair just wrote an article about an AA rehab in Long Island that is oh so lovely for high end addicts costing $75K a month. I won’t be promoting that article here…you can be sure of that!!!

I think I know what my next Documentary will be about .

How a respected drug-rehab program spun out of control

Politicians are embracing court-ordered drug rehab to reduce prison crowding. The case of Martin Szczupak, a 21-year-old addict sent to a facility run by Phoenix Houses of New York, shows how good intentions can backfire when care falls short.

NEW YORK – Martin Szczupak had already been in and out of rehab when, for a misdemeanor possession charge, a judge sent the 21-year-old heroin addict to a century-old estate in the wooded hills of upstate New York for another chance to clean up.

Belle Terre,

the former home of a 19th-century copper baron, housed the 168-bed Phoenix House Delaware County Center, a private, nonprofit residential drug treatment facility. When Szczupak arrived in June 2012, all was not well behind Belle Terre’s stately walls.

In the two years prior to Szczupak’s arrival, New York’s Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) had twice closed Belle Terre to new admissions after inspectors discovered illegal drug use, insufficient treatment and bad record-keeping, among many other regulatory violations. In each case, Belle Terre resumed admissions after Phoenix House submitted a “corrective action plan” to regulators.

Even so, residents and a counselor at Belle Terre when Szczupak was there said little had changed. Residents trafficked in drugs, cigarettes and other contraband. Nor were residents receiving the 40 hours a week of therapeutic services OASAS required.
