Call you representatives.
This is an excerpt from the minutes from a committee meeting held in April 2016
Please Conference Call: Regarding an individual accused of having a sexual relationship with more
than one minor and his continued attendance at the ACYPAA Round up. This item was tabled in
2011 and was never followed up on. Our lawyer was surprised he was allowed to be in
attendance. Per our lawyer, Advisory has actual knowledge of his behavior and we could be
held civilly responsible in a civil case if he repeated this behavior at ACYPAA. We need to
decide whether we are going to send him a certified letter to inform him he is not allowed to
attend ACYPAA. there are two versions of the letter, one drafted by the chair Emily, and a
version from our attorney.
INFORMATION PROVIDED: A main concern is keeping a ACYPAA as safe as possible for
attendees, and not putting acypaa at risk for a civil suit which would likely end The Round Up.
To win a civil suit there only has to be a 51% burden of proof. Several board members have
actual knowledge of this individual’s behavior; they witnessed it and we’re on the host
committee with him. The attorney was clear we have “actual knowledge”.
● How would this work?
● ACYPAA needs to be protected.this is bigger than an individual or a group, ACYPAA is a

This is an old er interview – still- very important. We love Billy Joel, for his music, his songs, his voice and his speaking out how
AA is NOT FOR HIM . Thank you Billy Joel.
Billy Joel’s car smash-ups and trips to rehab are as famous as his songs.
But the Piano Man seeks to clarify many of the sensational headlines that have tarnished his image in a new interview with The New York Times.
Joel, now 64, says Alcoholics Anonymous or the 12-step program never worked for him because he doesn’t believe in them.
Not a drinking problem: Billy Joel reveals his trips to rehab and multiple car crashes stem from depression and not an actual addiction
His trouble with the bottle evolved from his bouts of deep depression stemming from the end of a relationship and the 9/11 terror attacks.
In the aftermath of the 9/11 terror attacks, Joel says that he ‘used booze as medication’ instead of the prescription pill kind.
‘I was kind of in a mental fog and it had nothing to do with the booze,’ Joel tells The New York Times.
‘My mind wasn’t right. I wasn’t focused. I went into a deep, deep depression after 9/11.

I am watching it now. I saw an interview with the Director who was in this phony religious cult for 22 years. He was a young filmmaker. What a great film exposing religious , brainwashing cults.
Many of us are relating to the Loaded Language also used in AA.
OK folks– Now I have seen it all- The many creations of AA members to expand and create new groups to fix the world has just gone beyond the insanity of even Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous.
The fact that the Washington Post printed this -makes me wonder— SO we have alot of work to do. People just have no idea what a creepy old thingy AA and its crony old timer 1930’s steps are- powerless thinking nonsense.
Here is the story- not really worth reading , but worth noting how HUGE AA tentacles are !

Expensive cars. Flashy watches. Strip clubs. Casinos. Tattoos. Selfies of ripped biceps and b-boy stances.
This is the lifestyle of Eric Snyder, one of a breed of 20-something addicts who came to Florida to get clean and ended up making fortunes by housing and treating fellow addicts and testing their urine.
Armed with little more than GEDs, a year or two of sobriety and no formal training in substance abuse, they assume responsibility for housing and treating other millennials with addiction — the No. 1 killer of their generation.
Two years ago, Snyder, 29, caught the attention of a federal task force investigating hundreds of millions of dollars worth of insurance fraud, kickbacks and patient brokering in Palm Beach County’s drug treatment industry. Snyder landed in headlines when his businesses were raided by the FBI in December 2014 — the second of two high-profile raids by the task force.
Although no charges have been filed against Snyder, grand jury subpoenas went out in December, state investigative records obtained by The Palm Beach Post show.
Three former employees say Snyder’s treatment program staff forged medical records to collect on insurance money, investigative files and legal documents show. A doctor in a recent deposition said much the same thing: His license was used to order urine drug screens without his permission.
How much did Snyder make over the years? More than $50 million, one source close to the investigation said.
Even before the raid, state investigators had uncovered a smorgasbord of troubling practices: medications in unmarked envelopes, patients taking detox medications without a prescription and staff unqualified to dispense the drugs.
Among the more telling discoveries: 200 unrefrigerated urine samples, many without names on labels, in a makeshift lab and ready to be tested at an insurance company’s expense.
No arrests have been made, but Snyder remains on the radar of at least one federal agency, the Internal Revenue Service. In March the IRS filed a lien, saying Snyder owed $2 million in back taxes.
