A murder convict on parole who’s been off the radar since 1980 was arrested in Monrovia over the weekend, state officials announced today.

And what has Richard Bradford been up to? According to the state Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), he’s been running “a high-end drug rehabilitation center” that happens to boast of commendations from L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other city leaders.Bradford has been posing as a man named James Edward Heard via a “false” birth certificate from 1977 and subsequent social security number issued in that name the next year, state prison officials say.

The CDCR states:

Bradford began using the name James Heard off and on beginning in the mid 1980’s, and by 1992 Richard Bradford disappeared on paper.

He was paroled in 1978 and fell off the map in 1980, allegedly failing to check in with parole officials, according to the CDCR.

  1. This is an old story from March but recently Orange got a letter from a lawyer telling him to take the story down. Really…..why?

    • Probably because of the affiliation with the mayor. All political candidates scan the web for mentions of their name. Try posting something negative about a Chinese politician in power and see how long it takes for really bad things to happen. It is the new version of censorship – and they are winning. Got money and good lawyers? Get your way on the internet.

  2. Right!

The media is used as a puppet and someone’s A is definately being covered by the lawyer.

Some sharp report is going to hash out a very lucrative career for him or herself by having the balls to finally investigate AA and really REPORT on it!

Look at this: (It’s old so you likely saw it already though…)

    AA Confronts Media Over Anonymity
Do news outlets have a duty to protect the anonymity of AA members?

    And this:

Clancy Imislund and the breaking of AA Anonymity, AA Traditions, and the fracturing of the AA Recovery program

I think AntiD is right in saying that AA’s stronghold on the press is crumbling… And the will NEVER be able to control the Internet of people like Massive producing films.

And this Paul P. always puts up provocative videos…but the don’t show much. His write up in the “About” section is very interesting though IF it’s true???

    Who knows with them?
