Christmas time can be a hard time for some.

I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all who pass though my blog. The holidays can be difficult if you don’t have family. There were years in my early time in AA I went to a thing called an Alka thon – meeting after meeting all day long for those who were alone – Sadly there were a few years in my early time in AA that I left my Dad and a nice dinner to go to these stupid meetings with my sister and sit amongst the weirdest freaks I have ever met- some creepy too- thank GOD after I was sober about 3 years I stopped going to these events.
