Is Leaving AA hard to do or is it easy when you are ready to walk away.

March 22, 2019 Posted by MONICA RICHARDSON Addiction, Alcoholism, Rehabs No Comments

For me – it was easy- The Last 2 years as a GSR were such a drain and a nightmare. But, it did help me see how full of it they were when it came to talking about safety for members.

The #metoo movement has helped many demographics , but AA is still lagging in this area.  AA World Service did issue a Yellow Safety card. This is a good beginning. I started the First Safety Workshops in 2010 with the help of Paul C who guided and supported me with every step. We did about 4 of them . A few others were held around the country –  Now – I hear they are happening all over. This is all good.

But we have some other problems with AA. Court coercion. Dui coercion . Pilots ( HIMS Program ) Nurses, Doctors PHP program  all forced to AA for 5 years in a way that would make your head spin .  Criminals have it easier.

Over the next few days I will continue writing in this post to talk about the other areas , besides sexual exploitation that need work out of NY World Headquarters.
