NXIVM CULT Leader Keith Raniere- Was it a blend of AA, Scientology, and EST?

Watching Seduced : Inside the NXIVM Cult – the second Docu-series  on Starz-  about  this crazy, abusive sex cult.  I keep thinking about DIRTY JACK, an Alcoholics Anonymous old timer who was outed as I was doing safety work in AA the last year before I left .  AN old timer called me one night and told me someone had called her from our group   and told her about something she needed to tell me but that I could not tell anyone else .

I said ok – tell me – She began telling me about this oldtimer who went to meetings at The Marina Center in Culver City. She said  that a woman told her that he,  Dirty Jack  who had over 30 + years was sponsoring men and women , which in AA’s fake world its said  that’s a bad idea. But on the other hand they have no rules, but they have lots of MUSTS  and so as you can see – they also say that  AA has no oversight as well.

The woman told her that after they did their 4th step, they would read the 5th step to Dirty Jack. Then he would have them get naked and he would beat them on their  backs – I gasped- I said  ****** I can not stay quiet . I have to tell someone- the police – AA in NY –

I talked it over  with the oldtimer who came forward with this information that we had to do something- she was too afraid –

The first Documentary about this was on HBO MAX last month – It tells more of the history of the three people who left and exposed it. There were two other women who left 10  years prior who tried to expose him but he sued them and well – I dont want to spoil it .  I think this one on STARZ goes much deeper but the HBO gives you all the back story- So glad  they arrested his sorry ass .
