One of the four women who today accused Russell Brand of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse has claimed she was a victim of sexual assault at his house when he was working in the States.

Included among the explosive claims reported by The Times, is the allegation that Brand chased an ex-partner around a bedroom before grabbing her, pinning her to the bed, then kissing her and removing her clothes as she tried to fight him off.

The woman, who The Times have called Phoebe, told the newspaper that she met Brand at an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting before working together on a project at several locations, including his West Hollywood home.
