The Dangers of Dem Candidate”Marianne Williamson” New Age Religious fervor scary
Watching the second debate last night I could not help but think- wow – what a trip this women is. Her new age speak of “dark psychic forces”, her higher then mighty ” I am different then the rest of you candidates ” was startling.
Here’s the thing with Williamson- she is an author – ( she loves AA – we know that) I think her trip is FOOD as well – after all she wrote a book about food – a new age religious minister, feeding her form of made up religion to Hollywood actors, stars and the like. (Why do movie stars like cults so much anyway.)
I find it pretty scary that she is even on the stage. But we thought Donald Trump was a joke didn’t we? Until we didn’t.
But here’s the thing- The other candidates have real experience running cities, being senators – Governors-
Mayor Pete is an actual Mayor. Warren, Bernie, Kamala and Booker are all are senators. Some have been Governors of actual states. What has she done to prove she could handle being President ? Wrote a few books? Yup. That’s it. What did Trump do ? He was a reality show host- a mean one at that, and was born into wealth. Marianne Williamson was too- as she told us last night.
Why does CNN reporter, Anderson Cooper get excited that she was the most googled candidate? Who cares. No one knows her- that’s why they were looking her up.
Imagine having a right wing religious nut in the Oval Office – now imagine having a left wing New Agey religious nut combined with being a stepper to boot !
But the dangers of having any person in The White House who thinks religious ideology is a good thing for government -I find really scary and infuriating.
Separation of Church and State was our founding fathers biggest treasure. If I wanted a New Age Religious nut to become president – I too would get my head examined. I hope that in September, Williamson is back to having tea with Oprah or Rosie or some other Hollywood celebrity and gets the heck out of politics.
FACTS: She doesn’t have a college degree- she states she suffered alcohol and drug problems –
Question : is she an AA member ?

Williamson dropped out of college her junior year in 1973 and moved to New York City, intending to pursue a career as a cabaret singer.[14][13]
In 1979, after delving into A Course in Miracles, she returned to Houston, where she ran a combination metaphysical bookstore and coffeeshop.[14][18]
In 1983, she moved to Los Angeles. She began regularly lecturing on A Course in Miracles in Los Angeles and New York City, and eventually in other cities in the U.S. and Europe as well.[18][19] Williamson said that reading that book was her “path out of hell” as she had been, according to a 1992 Skeptical Inquirer magazine article by Martin Gardner, “mired in a series of unhappy love affairs, alcohol and drug abuse, a nervous breakdown, and endless sessions with therapists.” This article also reported on Williamson’s professed fringe beliefs, including that the “Voice” described in A Course in Miracles came from Jesus, that “nothing occurs outside our minds”, and that “sickness is an illusion and does not actually exist”.[20]
